Asian Dub Foundation, “History of Now”

Eesh. Let’s mash a handful of the most intense genres and max out the volume while shotgunning Red Bulls in tallboys. Ladies and Gentlemen, the new album from Asian Dub Foundation.

They’re described as a hybrid of dub, “rapcore” and hardcore punk with Pakistani, Indian and Caribbean influences. Let’s paraphrase Miles Davis: Sometimes it’s not about what you play, but what you don’t play. In the age of digital recording, you can always add another track.
